The overall demand for the grey cloth is limited, the balance between supply and demand is imbalance, and the market continues to be weak. The basic characteristics of the traditional peak season of textile industry do not show much. Some enterprises are more difficult to meet domestic demand or export performance.

From the understanding of the situation, grey fabric enterprises are more regular merchandiser production, and small orders are the main ones, and raw materials are more rigid replenishment.

Some enterprises in March were relatively well ordered and shipped smoothly, but since the middle of 4 months, the overall business situation has been worse, so as to protect workers, maintain normal production and order production and produce regular varieties, but sales volume is not optimistic.

Some enterprises are affected by credit sales, and funds are restricted to some extent.

Faced with the embarrassing situation of rising raw materials and insufficient downstream demand, the price of grey cloth can not rise, and the heads of enterprises are very helpless: "product sales are not good at all. If we raise the price by force, we can not sell it. We can only lose money now, but fortunately, the government will give certain subsidies to ensure the stable production and employment of local enterprises."

And some small weaving enterprises have said that they are unable to shoulder the existing pressure. Now they release the news that they should use the May Day holiday to suspend production, extend holidays and ease production pressure.

Cotton exports increased by 71.56% over the same period in March.

According to the latest statistics of the General Administration of Customs of China, in March 2016, China

37 million meters, the growth rate was 53.74%, a year-on-year decrease of 37.65%, and the export of cotton cloth was 759 million meters, an increase of 45.96%, an increase of 71.56% over the same period last year. The net export volume was 722 million meters, an increase of 45.58%, an increase of 88.58% over the same period last year.

In 2015/16, China imported 276 million tons of cotton cloth, a decrease of 20.38% over the same period last year, and a total export of 5 billion 93 million meters, an increase of 10.84% over the same period last year.

In 1-3 months of 2016, China imported 94 million tons of cotton cloth, down 31.07% from the same period last year, and exported 2 billion 53 million meters, an increase of 24.16% over the same period last year.
